Evaluating NetSuite is an extremely frustrating process.
No freemium option, no trial version. Instead, a wasteland of astroturfed resources like r/netsuite, G2, and ERP consultants. And when you are serious, Oracle puts you through the ringer of sales calls so that they can show you their product...over a screen share.
People don't buy software this way anymore. They want to see, touch, and feel it. They want to test their real life scenarios on it. They want an opinion from someone they can trust, rather than from a consultancy seeking their next implementation project.
And they want that instantly, without a person involved.
Today, we're launching Project Imprint. We scraped most of NetSuite and produced a frontend static clone of it - it's available here, for free, and completely open source.
Sample pages:
Our motivations are threefold:
-
A resource for NetSuite prospects who wish to explore it without having to go through the Oracle sales ringer.
-
A way to increase the fidelity of Cadbury's answers today, which reply with NetSuite visuals from a body of screenshots.
-
Our first step towards a broader vision to remake SaaS procurement.
Our clone is incomplete; increasing performance, generating sample data, and covering all pages remain todos. Come get involved, and contribute towards this project here.
