The quick answer
On the saved search’s Email tab, enable scheduled emails, add recipients, choose CSV output and set a weekly schedule. Save and reopen the configuration; verify actual delivery in a separate test.
The screenshots show a recorded demonstration with sample data. Use your own records and values when following the steps.
Before you start
Use an existing search you can edit, with eligible recipient records and valid email addresses. Check the schedule’s timezone and search-owner permissions. The final email and CSV shown here are illustrative output, not a live inbox or proof that the schedule executed.
01. Inspect the current email settings
Edit Fulfillments awaiting dispatch and open Email. Send Emails According to Schedule starts clear. Keep the search criteria and result definition unchanged.
02. Enable the schedule and add recipients
Select Send Emails According to Schedule and Summarize Scheduled Emails; clear Send If No Results. Add Morgan Ellis and Jamie Rivera under Specific Recipients and confirm both rows. Their email addresses come from their records. Keep at least one recipient outside Bcc.
03. Set the message and CSV output
Under Customize Message, enter Weekly dispatch queue and Review these fulfillment documents before dispatch planning. Select Send as CSV. The message should explain the attached queue.
04. Choose the Friday schedule
Open Schedule, choose Weekly Event and repeat every 1 week on Friday. Set September 11, 2026 and 9:30 AM, check the applicable timezone, and select No End Date. Choose Save & Run.
05. Reopen the saved configuration
Inspect the unchanged fulfillment results, then reopen Edit → Email. Check both recipients, email flags, message, CSV selection and Friday schedule. Save & Run saves and runs the search; it does not prove scheduled email delivery.
06. Read the representative email
The illustrative message addresses the two configured recipients and repeats the subject and introduction. Its attachment is weekly-dispatch-queue.csv. Treat this as an explanation of intended output, not a delivered test message.
07. Compare the illustrative CSV rows
Open the attachment preview. Match IF-5612 for Alder Retail and IF-5613 for Pinegrove Supplies to the search results, including dates, amounts and items. Actual export formatting can differ; delivery still needs a controlled scheduled-run test.
Check the result
- The reopened configuration retains recipients, CSV and weekly timing.
- The sample output matches the demonstrated result rows.
- A real scheduled run and delivery are checked separately.
Common questions
How do I schedule saved-search results every week as a CSV attachment?
Edit the existing saved search and select Send Emails According to Schedule. Add the intended Specific Recipients, select Send as CSV under Customize Message, then set Schedule to Weekly Event with the required day, start date, time, and no end date. Check the timezone shown for the schedule. Save the search with Save & Run.
Does Summarize Scheduled Emails send separate results to each recipient?
No. For Specific Recipients, it produces one summarized email for the listed recipients. When recipients come from search results, it summarizes each recipient’s matching results; Results summary fields override the Summarize Scheduled Emails setting. It does not make Specific Recipients receive separate filtered emails.
Will the scheduled email send if the search has no results?
Not when Send If No Results is cleared. If the option is selected, NetSuite may send an email even when the search returns nothing. Recipients must also be supported records with usable email addresses, and the user and search must have the required access.
Does Save & Run prove that the weekly email was sent?
No. Save & Run saves the configuration and opens the current search results; it does not prove delivery or that a recurring run has completed. Reopen the Email and Schedule settings to confirm what was saved, then use a separate test with controlled, deliverable addresses or review the account’s email records after the scheduled run. An illustrative email or CSV preview is not proof of delivery.
