The quick answer
In the Reminders portlet’s Set Up dialog, add Sales Orders Pending Fulfillment under Headline and enable Show reminders with zero results. Save and compare the visible queues and counts.
The screenshots show a recorded demonstration with sample data. Use your own records and values when following the steps.
Before you start
Start with a Reminders portlet on Home. The reminders must be available to your role and enabled features. Adding a reminder changes dashboard visibility; it does not approve, fulfill or otherwise change the underlying transactions.
01. Read the starting reminder
On Home, inspect Reminders. Sales Orders to Approve shows 3. The fulfillment queue and configured zero-count reminder are not displayed.
02. Inspect the linked approval list
Click Sales Orders to Approve and inspect the three supporting orders. Return to Home without selecting or submitting approvals. A reminder links to its work list or search.
03. Add the headline and zero results
Open the Reminders menu → Set Up. Enable Show reminders with zero results. Add Sales Orders Pending Fulfillment to Current Selections and drag it under Headline, then Save.
04. Compare the saved display
The headline now shows 5 Sales Orders Pending Fulfillment. Sales Orders to Approve stays at 3 and Return Authorizations to Approve is visible at 0. Refresh the portlet; the counts remain unchanged in this example.
Check the result
- The fulfillment reminder appears under Headline with count 5.
- The zero-count return reminder is visible.
- The approval count remains 3; no orders were processed.
Common questions
How do I add Sales Orders Pending Fulfillment to my dashboard?
Open the Reminders portlet menu and select Set Up. Add Sales Orders Pending Fulfillment to Current Selections, drag it under Headline, and click Save. The reminder must be available to your role, based on your permissions, enabled features, and account configuration.
How do I show reminders with a zero count?
In the Reminders setup window, enable Show reminders with zero results, then click Save. Configured reminders with no matching records will then remain visible with a count of 0.
Why is a reminder missing from my dashboard?
A reminder may be hidden because its count is zero, or it may not be available to your role because of permissions, enabled features, or account configuration. Enable Show reminders with zero results and check whether the reminder is available in Current Selections.
What does refreshing the Reminders portlet change?
Refreshing retrieves the current reminder results. It does not create, approve, fulfill, or otherwise change transactions, search criteria, or role access; the counts can change only if the underlying records or relevant configuration has changed.
