Before you start
This is a personal search preference. Begin with a query that shows both result groups so the before-and-after comparison checks the setting rather than a different search.
01. Compare the two result groups
From Home, type sales in Global Search without submitting it. Inspect Global Search Results and Current Page Results in the suggestions. The two groups have different scopes.
02. Clear the Page Search preference
Open Home → Set Preferences → Analytics. In Search, clear Page Search and click Save. Leave the other search preferences unchanged.
03. Repeat the same query
Return to Home and type sales again. Confirm Global Search Results remains and Current Page Results is absent. Saving this user preference changes the search presentation without deleting account records.
Check the result
- The before-and-after query is identical.
- Page Search is saved as cleared.
