The quick answer
In the configured FactorySync resource Gantt, open Bulk Move, clear any order that must keep its current slot, enter the first available date, and choose Schedule to Capacity. Check the refreshed Gantt against both the excluded order and the selected orders. FactorySync is a Consule Solutions extension; this action is not a standard NetSuite manufacturing control.
The screenshots use fictional person and company names. The sequence shows the extension's visible result, not its scheduling algorithm or a promise that every account will choose the same dates. Labels, colors, and available actions can vary by FactorySync version, role, and account configuration.
Before you start
This example uses a June 2026 resource schedule. Alex Morgan is unavailable on June 11 and 12. Work order WO-1050 is already In Process and starts June 8, so it must stay in place. The planned orders can move to June 15 or later. Your account needs the FactorySync extension, its resource Gantt and Bulk Move permission, and current resource and work-order data. Check your own production commitments and materials before changing an operational schedule.
01. Review the resource Gantt
Open FactorySync's Gantt view, choose Resources, and set the timeline to Month. Find the affected resource and compare the starting dates. In this example the red WO-1050 assignment begins June 8; the planned blue assignments begin later that week. Select Bulk Move.
02. Exclude the in-process order
The Bulk Move Work Orders dialog lists the orders to reschedule. It initially selects the visible list. Clear the checkbox beside WO-1050, which is marked In Process. Leave the planned orders selected. The unchecked order should keep its original date.
03. Set the move date
In Move to Date, enter 06/15/2026 (June 15, 2026 in this account's date format), then choose Schedule to Capacity. The field describes this as scheduling from the entered date at the next available capacity. The source does not expose how the extension calculates capacity, dependencies, or material constraints, so review the output before relying on it.
04. Check the revised Gantt
Wait for the Gantt to refresh, then compare the two groups. The red WO-1050 bar remains on June 8. The selected blue assignments start on June 15 and continue on later dates in this example. Check the corresponding work-order and operation records, other resource lanes, materials, and promised dates in your own configured account; the video does not show which underlying records the extension updates.
Check the result
- WO-1050 still starts June 8.
- The selected planned orders begin June 15 or later in the example Gantt.
- Dates and resource assignments agree with the work orders and commitments in your account.
Common questions
Is Bulk Move part of standard NetSuite manufacturing?
No. The screens shown here belong to a configured FactorySync extension. Standard NetSuite scheduling screens and available actions may differ.
Why exclude an in-process work order?
The planner deliberately leaves WO-1050 on its existing June 8 slot while moving the planned group. The demonstration does not establish whether FactorySync permits moving an in-process work order.
Does Schedule to Capacity guarantee the dates shown here?
No. June 15 onward is the visible result for this example. The source does not show the extension's calculation or prove how another account's resources, dependencies, materials, and settings affect dates.
